Product Overview & Technical Data
Product Overview
55 and 65 mm thermal-break casement door aluminium profiles built on the same platform as the 55 and 65 casement windows, with a 100 thermal-break floor-spring door series available for entrance openings.
Casement doors are where window systems usually come apart. The door has to carry a leaf several times the weight of a window sash, take a lock case and a hinge set, and still line up visually with the glazing around it. This series answers that by being the same platform as the 55 and 65 casement windows rather than a separate product – so a glazed screen with a door in it is detailed once, in one profile family, with one gasket schedule and one set of corner cleats.
Two depths are offered because door duty varies. The 55 mm sections suit internal and light external doors where the leaf is modest and the exposure is low. The 65 mm sections carry heavier leaves and give a larger glazing rebate for the thicker insulating or laminated units an external door usually needs.
For entrance openings – the doors that take hundreds of cycles a day and need to close on their own – the range includes a 100 thermal-break floor-spring door series. Specifying the entrance from the same range means the main door and the surrounding glazing carry the same finish batch and the same thermal break, instead of an obvious mismatch at the most visible point in the facade.
Tell Us the Duty
The useful starting point is what the profile has to do: span, wind load, U-value target, opening type. From that we identify the series and say plainly where a cheaper option would be a false economy.
Tooling Where Needed
Bespoke sections are normal here rather than exceptional. Die design, simulation, machining and vacuum nitriding are all in-house, and you approve a sample extrusion before production is booked.

What we can change for your project – and what we cannot
Material and Grade
Metal specification follows the section: 6063-T5 for standard architectural extrusions, 6005-T5 where the design needs a higher mechanical rating in the same envelope, 6061-T6 for the most heavily loaded members. Chemistry on every heat is confirmed by direct-reading spectrometer in the on-site spectroscopy lab, and mechanical properties are verified in the physical-mechanical lab before release.
Surface Finish
All the usual architectural finishes are available and all of them are produced in-house – anodised, powder-coated, fluorocarbon (PVDF) coated, electrophoretically lacquered and wood-grain heat transferred. The vertical powder line, the PVDF line and the wood-grain vacuum transfer oven sit on the same 40,000 m² site as the extrusion presses, with chromium-free pre-treatment ahead of every coating process.
Custom Tooling
Tooling is made in-house, which is what makes bespoke sections practical rather than theoretical. Flow behaviour is checked by simulation before steel is cut, the die is then machined and hardened in a vacuum nitriding furnace, and a first sample length is produced for approval before the run starts. Customer drawings and physical samples are both accepted as the starting point.
Made-to-Order Sizing
Made to order means made to your figures – cut length, wall thickness inside the section’s design envelope, finish colour and bundle quantity. Supplying the cutting list with the order costs nothing and saves both the offcut waste and the saw time at the other end.
Factory and Export Capability
The approved partner manufacturer holds its own import-export licence for aluminium and aluminium products, so shipments are made direct from the factory rather than through an agent. Design capacity at the partner manufacturing base is 50,000 tonnes a year, over 100,000 tonnes across the group including multiple partner manufacturing bases. Export packing is moisture-barrier wrapping, protective film, foam interleaving and timber crating; FOB, CIF and DDP terms are all quoted and container loading is supervised in-house.
Alloy, Temper, Finish
Billet chemistry is checked by spectrometer on every heat, the temper is confirmed to the drawing, and the finish is applied in-house over approved partner manufacturer chromium-free pre-treatment.
Send the drawings, the opening schedule or the performance target. Our engineers will confirm the series, the alloy, the finish and the delivered price — and tell you plainly if another series in the range fits your project better.

Applications
Light internal glazed doors
The 55 mm sections keep weight and cost down where exposure is low.
Where this profile is specified
The configuration of Where this profile is specified is selected against the operating conditions, installation interfaces and destination-market requirements. Include the intended use and site constraints in the RFQ.
Balcony and terrace doors
Casement doors on the same platform as the adjacent windows, so the screen reads as one system.
Apartment entrance doors
The 65 mm sections carry heavier leaves with the glazing rebate an external door needs.
Glazed screens with opening leaves
Shared platform with the 55 and 65 window series removes the window-to-door interface.
Commercial entrances
The 100 thermal-break floor-spring series covers high-cycle main entrances.
Hotel and restaurant frontages
Consistent sight lines and one finish batch across doors and adjacent glazing.
Quality Control & Inspection
Inspection for 55 / 65 Thermal-Break Casement Door Series can cover the approved specification, appearance, dimensions and agreed performance checks. Factory or third-party inspection criteria must be confirmed before the order.
Packing & Delivery
Shipping and Terms
Container loading is supervised by our own staff, packing is film, moisture barrier, foam interleaving and timber crating, and terms are FOB, CIF or DDP as you prefer.
