Product Overview & Technical Data

Product Overview

Luyu International provides comprehensive aluminum curtain wall system solutions for commercial buildings, high-rise structures, and architectural facades. Our curtain wall systems combine structural performance, aesthetic flexibility, and energy efficiency for projects of any scale.

Qualified partner manufacturers produce unitized and stick-built aluminum curtain wall systems including exposed-frame, semi-hidden, and fully hidden designs. All systems are engineered for wind load, seismic performance, and thermal efficiency, with full technical support from design to installation.

c.mq110-160 exposed-frame curtain wall system built from plain non-thermal-break aluminium profile, with a 60 mm visible face and mullion depths of 110, 120, 140, 150 and 160 mm.

The C.MQ series is the commercially honest option in the curtain-wall range: it achieves the exposed-frame curtain-wall appearance using plain aluminium profile rather than thermal-break sections, at a materially lower cost per square metre. That trade is the right one on a great many buildings – unconditioned circulation spaces, car park screens, podium infill, warehouse and industrial elevations, and projects in mild climates where the facade is not carrying a thermal-transmittance requirement. Where the elevation does have a U-value target, the thermal-broken 65MQ or 65GRMQ series is the correct specification and this one is not.

Geometrically the series is a full curtain wall, not a simplification. The visible face is 60 mm on both mullion and transom, so the grid is square, and five mullion depths from 110 to 160 mm are selected by structural calculation exactly as they would be in a thermal-broken system. Wind load does not care whether the section has a polyamide strip in it.

Two practical features: a raised support feature in the section gives the glass a positive bearing during installation, which speeds up glazing and reduces the risk of a unit being set out of position, and shaped cover caps articulate the facade style so the elevation still has visual character despite the simpler section. Additional custom c.mq110-160 exposed-frame curtain wall system specifications are available for specialized industrial or commercial project requirements.

Series C.MQ110-160 exposed-frame curtain wall
Concept achieves the exposed-frame curtain-wall appearance using plain (non-thermal-break) aluminium profile, for a lower-cost elevation
Visible face width 60 mm on mullion and transom
Mullion depth options 110 / 120 / 140 / 150 / 160 mm by structural calculation
Glass support a raised support feature in the section gives the glass a positive bearing during installation
Cover caps shaped cover caps that articulate the facade style
Alloy selection 6063-T5, 6005-T5 and 6061-T6, chosen against the duty of the individual section
Surface treatment Anodising, powder coating, PVDF, electrophoresis and wood-grain transfer; industrial-grade powder, chromium-free pre-treatment
Tooling In-house die design, simulation analysis, machining and vacuum nitriding; sample length before the production run
Sizing to order Length schedule, wall thickness within envelope, signed-off colour, packing unit
Factory capability 100-mu site, 40,000 m² of building, 375 staff, three laboratories; direct export on FOB / CIF / DDP

Dimensional and performance figures are taken from the manufacturing partner’s own product catalogue. Mill certificates, spectrometer analysis reports and coating thickness records are issued with each shipment.

What we can change for your project – and what we cannot

Material and Grade

Sections are extruded in 6063-T5, 6005-T5 or 6061-T6 depending on the load path – the lighter architectural members in 6063-T5, load-carrying members in 6005-T5, and the highest-stress components in 6061-T6. Billet is sourced from major domestic smelters with per-heat spectrometer verification, and ageing is controlled in gas-fired double-door ovens.

Surface Finish

Anodising, powder coating, fluorocarbon (PVDF) coating, electrophoretic lacquer and wood-grain heat transfer are all available, all in-house, all ahead of a chromium-free pre-treatment stage. Because extrusion, crimping and coating happen on one site, a mixed-finish order for a single project stays on one production schedule instead of being split across subcontractors.

Custom Tooling

Die opening is supported end to end: profile drawing review, simulation analysis, die manufacture and vacuum nitriding are all in-house capabilities. Send a section drawing or a sample and a die can be cut for it; where the requirement is close to an existing section, modifying the existing die is normally quicker and lowers the tooling charge.

Made-to-Order Sizing

Everything that can reasonably be varied is varied to order – cut length, wall thickness within the section’s design envelope, finish colour and bundle size. A length schedule supplied with the order is cut to as issued, so material arrives ready to fabricate.

Factory and Export Capability

Shipment is arranged from the selected partner manufacturer; the manufacturing entity and export eligibility are confirmed for each order. Factory capability and production capacity are verified against the selected manufacturer’s current documents before order confirmation. Profiles are filmed, moisture-wrapped, foam-interleaved and timber-crated, and containers are loaded under our own supervision on FOB, CIF or DDP terms.

Production and Finishing

Extrusion in the confirmed alloy and temper, then anodising, powder coating, PVDF, electrophoresis or wood-grain transfer to the approved colour sample.

65MQ160 Full-Series Curtain Wall

Applications

Cost-driven exposed-frame facades

Delivers the expressed-grid appearance where the budget will not carry a thermal-break system.

01

Where this profile is specified

The configuration of Where this profile is specified is selected against the operating conditions, installation interfaces and destination-market requirements. Include the intended use and site constraints in the RFQ.

02

Car park and service screens

Unconditioned spaces where a thermal break has nothing to do, at a lower cost per square metre.

03

Industrial and warehouse elevations

Full curtain-wall geometry and structural performance without paying for thermal separation.

04

Podium and non-conditioned infill

Matches the grid of a thermal-broken tower system on areas that do not need it.

05

Mild-climate commercial buildings

Where no facade U-value target applies, the plain section is the correct specification.

06

Circulation cores and stair towers

Glazed but unheated spaces, structurally identical requirements.

Quality Control & Inspection

Inspection for C.MQ Series Exposed-Frame Curtain Wall can cover the approved specification, appearance, dimensions and agreed performance checks. Factory or third-party inspection criteria must be confirmed before the order.

Packing & Delivery

Enquiry and Drawing

Send the section drawing, a sample, or the opening schedule and performance target. Our engineers confirm which series fits and say so plainly if a different one fits better.

Tooling and Sample

Where a bespoke section is needed the die is designed with simulation analysis, cut and nitrided in house, and a sample length is produced for approval.

Export Packing and Shipping

Protective film, moisture barrier, foam interleaving and timber crating, on FOB / CIF / DDP terms with container loading supervised in house.
