PE100 Water Supply Pipe
PE100给水管
Product Introduction
PE100 water supply pipes are the gold standard for modern municipal and industrial water distribution systems. Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with a MRS (Minimum Required Strength) of 10 MPa at 20°C, PE100 pipes offer superior long-term hydrostatic strength compared to older PE80 materials. The PE100 resin is a bimodal polyethylene copolymer that combines a high-molecular-weight backbone for strength with controlled comonomer distribution for stress-crack resistance, resulting in a pipe that can safely operate at 1.6 MPa pressure for 50 years under standard conditions.
At Luyu International, we supply PE100 pipes ranging from 20mm to 630mm in outer diameter, in SDR11, SDR13.6, SDR17, and SDR21 dimensions, suitable for PN10, PN12.5, and PN16 pressure ratings. Our pipes are manufactured at certified state-owned facilities using virgin PE100 resin from leading suppliers such as Borealis, Sabic, and Sinopec, ensuring consistent material quality, smooth internal walls for excellent flow capacity, and exceptional resistance to slow crack growth (PENT > 1000 hours).
Unlike metal pipes, PE100 is inert to corrosion in soil and water, requires no internal or external coating, and joints via heat fusion to create a fully integral, leak-free system that outlasts traditional ductile iron or PVC alternatives. The pipe is flexible enough to withstand ground movement, frost heave, and seismic activity without cracking, and its light weight (approximately one-seventh the weight of steel pipe of the same diameter) reduces transportation and installation costs significantly. We have supplied PE100 pipe to projects in Australia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, and South America, and we understand export packaging, container loading optimization, and site installation requirements in diverse climate zones.

Key Features
- 50-year design life at 20°C and rated pressure, proven by long-term hydrostatic testing.
- Superior stress crack resistance — PE100-RC resists point loading and rock impingement without sand bedding.
- 100% leak-free joints via heat fusion — no gaskets, no clamps, no future maintenance.
- Corrosion-proof — no internal lining, no external coating, no cathodic protection needed.
- Excellent flow capacity — smooth inner wall (Ra < 0.007mm) reduces pumping energy.
Applications
Quality & Certification
Our PE100 pipes are manufactured under ISO 9001 quality management and comply with ISO 4427, GB/T 13663, and EN 12201 standards. Each batch is tested for hydrostatic strength, oxidative stability (OIT), melt flow rate, and longitudinal reversion. Mill test certificates (MTC), third-party inspection reports from SGS/BV on request, and potable water approval (WRAS / NSF / ACS equivalent) are available for export markets.
FAQ
Q1: What is the MOQ?
A: Standard sizes start from one pallet (approximately 500-1000kg depending on diameter). Full container loads (20′ or 40’HQ) receive better pricing.
Q2: What is the lead time?
A: Standard sizes in stock: 7-15 days. Production order: 20-30 days. Large diameters (dn400+) and custom colors: 30-45 days.
Q3: Can you supply fittings and fusion equipment?
A: Yes, we supply matching PE100 fittings (elbows, tees, reducers, flanges), electrofusion couplers, and can recommend butt fusion welding machines for your diameter range.
Q4: What payment terms do you accept?
A: T/T 30% deposit, 70% before shipment. Irrevocable L/C at sight for orders above USD 50,000. We support FOB Shanghai/Ningbo, CIF, and DDP terms.
Q5: How do you package for export?
A: Straight pipes are bundled with steel straps and protected with film; coils are wrapped in weather-proof sheeting. We optimize container loading to maximize cubic volume and minimize freight cost per meter.
Q6: Do you offer technical support for installation?
A: Yes, we provide fusion welding parameter charts, installation manuals in English, and video guidance. On-site commissioning support can be arranged for large projects.
Q7: Can you produce colors other than black with blue stripes?
A: Yes, green, blue, or full-color pipes are available for identification purposes. Minimum order quantity applies for custom colors.
